Campus Relations Manager
Are you eager to enhance sustainability on campus and work in an ambitious team?
Job Description – Campus Relations Manager
The GO Green Office (GGO) is a team of ambitious students who are passionate about making an impact at TU/e and share a strong commitment to sustainability on campus. Our team recognizes that university campuses are representative of many of the larger-scale issues evident in our societies – from food, waste, and energy problems to gender and social equity issues, we see the positive contribution a single university can make to create a better world.
In the Campus Relations Manager (CRM) role, you are one of the faces of the GGO on the TU/e campus. Your task is to be an approachable and comfortable access point for a wide variety of TU/e parties (from student associations and student teams to support services and more). Together with these parties, you will investigate how TU/e and student organizations can become more sustainable and act as a student sustainability ambassador to guide this process.
Profile
Our team is looking for an enthusiastic team member with strong networking and strategic skills, as well as a commitment to sustainability. GGO is an incredibly open learning environment that allows you to develop professional skills and build a network within and outside of TU/e.
We are looking for an easy-going, flexible, and approachable team player who is communicative, has outstanding people skills, and is fluent in English with strong writing skills – you’ll be writing a lot of professional emails. You need a good understanding of TU/e’s organizational structure and stakeholders and ideally have proven experience in a major role in either a student team, student/study, or sports association, an Innovation Space SA, or an equivalent role. You work in a sub-team of two with the other Campus Relations Manager. Thus, there is a lot of teamwork involved but also an expectation for you to be able to work independently.
If you have most of the skills above, experience with project management, and a passion for sustainability, you are our perfect candidate!
Start Date and Working Hours
You will become a part of the GO Green Office team starting September 1st. As CRM, you are expected to spend 12 hours each week on the job for at least one academic year until June 30th, 2024.
