Are you eager to enhance sustainability on campus and work in an ambitious team? Go Green Office is looking for a Community Manager. We are looking for a person with strong communication and organization skills, who can lead and enthuse a diverse team. The person we are looking for knows their way around campus and can come up with creative projects and solutions. As the Community Manager, you’re the main responsible for the Green Student Community. We’re currently engaging with and enlarging the Green Student Community to contribute to a more sustainable TU/e. This function is quite flexible in what you organize and plan for the community since it’s a concept that has only existed for almost a year. You’ll also be working together with the PR team within the GGO board a lot to connect to our community.
Your main tasks will be:
- Engage with the Green Student Community
- Organize events for the community and share sustainable initiatives among the community
- Organizing the TU/e Green Week
- Coordinating and recruiting (new) GGO communities
- Recruiting future members of the GGO board
Next to the specified responsibilities for this function, you will also be asked to add value to the team in alternative ways. If there are any projects running or other assignments available these will be executed by you as well next to your regular tasks.
As a GGO member, you are expected to spend 12 hours each week on the job. The starting date is September 1st. You are expected to stay for at least one academic year (excl. summer holidays).
Salary: min. €14 per hour
