Are you eager to enhance sustainability on campus and work in an ambitious team? Go Green Office is looking for a Strategic Manager. As the new Strategic Manager, your main goal is to professionalize the GGO. We are looking for an ambitious and social TU/e student from any discipline, preferably end-bachelor or beginning of master. You need to have a good command of the English and Dutch languages. In addition to this requirement, it is important that you can work in a structured way, you are punctual and well-organized. Experience in team management, organizational tasks, sustainability-related experiences, and networking skills are a pre. In addition, experience in co-determination bodies is requested.
Your main responsibilities:
- In the Strategic manager role, the candidate is responsible for the strategic development of the GO Green Office. You aid the chair in translating the strategy into annual objectives and budget plans.
- The strategic manager aims to influence and contribute to TU/e policy. Their goal is to bring sustainability on the map in TU/e strategy, education, and other areas contributing to TU/e’s sustainable development.
- As a strategic manager, you are part of the ‘Sustainability Core team’. This team consists of all staff members playing a central role in sustainability at TU/e. The strategic manager advises this team on the visioning process and how to deal with internal stakeholders.
Next to the specified responsibilities for this function, you will also be asked to add value to the team in alternative ways. If there are any projects running or other assignments available these will be executed by you as well next to your regular tasks.
As a GGO member, you are expected to spend 10 hours each week on the job. The starting date is September 1st. You are expected to stay for at least one academic year (excl. summer holidays).
Salary: min. €14 per hour
